I've done this game for the Trijam#102: Contrast. I choosed this jam format because I haven't much time on a daily basis to code video games (at least until now) but I still want to progress by finishing small projects.
This game is not much in the end but I am happy with the result, even if it took me more time to finish it than expected.
It did me good to realize it and I hope it will give me the necessary impetus to make other games !
What I learned
- Basics of Gdevelop (Visual programming with blocks)
- Variables
- Multiples scenes
- Inputs Gestion
- Sound Gestion
- Groups
- The smallest gameDesign features take time to implement, be realistic
What I liked
- My attempt to transition with just the movement of a black background
- Little juicyness attached to the interaction with the button (design + sound)
- Simple concept of associating colors with inputs and combination of inputs resulting in new logicals colors
What I want for my next games
- Being able to release it in due time to have feedbacks
- Explore Gdevelop possibilities
