Nice presentation. Beautiful island and parrot. Hand drawn maps would have been nicer, but probably wouldn't have fit the jam time I guess. But I'd even prefer a badly scribbled map (that would be funny) to a photocopy.
A parrot squeak on every dialog text would be cute.
I couldn't get past first clue (!You fooooound a clue, well doooone."). Tried many buttons and mouse clicks, not sure if the game hung up. EDIT: OK I started the game again. Looks like I forgot it was "X".
It also took me a bit to find out how to use dig. You have to look with "H" instead of the yellow dig symbol.
I love the setting and treasure hunting. Goes from way too easy to very difficult too quick for my taste.
EDIT2: Tried 2 times didn't find the treasure yet. I'm such a crappy pirate DX. But I did get better. Maybe 3rd time I'll get lucky.
Hi, I definitly agree that an Hand drawn maps would have been nicer, but as my drawing skills aren't so great, I didn't follow that path (afterwards I still really like the dithered effect). Sure, parrot squeaking would have add to the immersion (I tried to convey it through dialog, but it's less impactfull than with SFX).
Yep the difficuty curve is a bit abrupt x) Pirate life isn't easy after all...
Thanks a lot for the feedback and playing my game multiple times :D
